A crane had to be used to rescue a cow and a bull which were being raised by a man on his rooftop for four years. The dramatic rescue unfolded after the owner of the house called emergency services to help the animals to the ground floor in Karachi, Pakistan.

The owner said the city was so cramped that the roof had been the best place for them. Large crowds gathered as the cow and bull were lowered from the fourth-floor terrace
