victory of Godwin Obaseki, the All Progressives Congress (APC) party candidate. Obaseki, won 13 of the state’s 18 local government areas.

Governor Oshiomhole, his wife and others were seen in a jubilant mood yesterday at the government house in Benin, Edo state -as they popped a bottle of wine to celebrate.
