Singer Mary J. Blige is determined to make her estranged husband abide
by a prenuptial agreement she insists is solid.
The 45-year-old filed
for divorce from Martin 'Kendu' Isaacs in July citing irreconcilable
differences after 12 years of marriage.
Now, according to TMZ, she's asking a judge to rule that the prenup that
sets out what each takes away from the marriage is valid.
The gossip website reports that Blige is concerned that an attorney for
Isaacs, who is also her manager, has apparently suggested that the
agreement is 'immensely invalid, unenforceable and
unconscionable.'
The R&B star claims that the couple signed their agreement on December 5, 2003, two days before they wed.
In her divorce filing, she also asked the judge not to grant Isaacs any spousal support.
